On timeline of progress, we tend to forget our own health & fitness. It’s only later that we realise how difficult it would be to regain fitness. In the cycles of losing and gaining heath, we bring this “Swasthya Challenge” to enable you to keep pushing your limits, until you get fitter again. One may be an athlete, but it’s possible that he may be barely taking up body fitness exercises, or adopting basic balanced lifestyles that can contribute in making healthier fitter societies of nation. We encourage you to take YOUR OWN SWASTHYA CHALLENGE; it will certainly give you benefits during and after the period of this mass movement. WEIGHT LOSS

Weight Loss

Measure CURRENT weight in kgs. Set a GOAL of weight-loss to be achieved by last date. Submit FINAL STATUS by last day of overall period. Take necessary high-res pictures all along.

PUSH-UP

Push-up by time or by count

For HOW LONG can you continue to do pushups? HOW MANY maximum push-ups can you do in one go? Set any level of measurement for your challenge. Record current status, goal, and final status.

PLANK

Plank

One of the most rewarding and ready to start challenge! It’s also one of the toughest! Measure for how long can you hold a plank CURRENTLY. Record it. Set GOAL and submit FINAL STATUS on closing.

BMI

BMI (Body Mass Index)

Measure CURRENT BMI with your weight & height records. Set a TARGET BMI to be achieved. Submit FINAL STATUS at the end of activity period. Use any BMI tool on Google Search.

WALKING

Walking

Measure CURRENT level with how far (kms) or how fast (steps/min) or how long (time) do you walk. Set goal of improving to BRISK WALKING in any of above level. Submit GOAL and FINAL STATUS by given time.

RUNNING / SPRINTING

Running / Sprinting

Measure CURRENT level with how far (kms) or how fast (steps/min) or how long (time) do you run. Set goal of improving to brisk/long running in any of above level. Submit GOAL and FINAL STATUS by given time.

CYCLING

Cycling by time

What’s your current level of cycling kms in 24 hrs? Submit CURRENT Kms for 24hrs, set a GOAL to be achieved by end of challenge period. Submit FINAL STATUS by last date. Maximum in 24 Hrs! Remember!

SWIMMING

Swimming

Take CURRENT 50 mtr time for any of Butterfly Stroke, Breast Stroke, Back Stroke, or Freestyle Stroke. Set Target/Goal time to be achieved. Submit FINAL STATUS by the last date of submission.

ROPE SKIPPING

Rope Skipping

Measure current level of maximum no. of times you can skip rope in one go! Record CURRENT COUNTS! Set GOAL/Target Counts to be achieved by end of challenge period. Submit FINAL STATUS by last date.

SUN SALUTATION

Surya Namaskar

Measure current level of maximum no. of times you can do “Surya Namaskar” in one go! Record CURRENT COUNTS! Set GOAL/Target Counts to be achieved by end of period. Submit FINAL STATUS by last date.

OTHER

Measurable Challenge

You can choose any other measurable challenge. Pls specify which challenge are you taking; record CURRENT level & set TARGET to be achieved. We’ll review it. Look for submitting FINAL STATUS if approved.

2. Fill the quick form with all necessary details and your strong resolve! You will have an option to choose your registration as Individual / Society / School / College / Corporate / Association

3. About Swasthya Challenge: It is your own challenge to push limits in given time. Take up the challenge that you feel will benefit you the most in getting closer to your healthiest best! Resolve to get fittest! You will need to mention in which category of health & fitness are you taking your Swasthya Challenge [Weight Loss / Pushups / Planks / BMI / Walking / Running / Cycling / Swimming / Rope Skipping / Surya Namaskar / Other]

4. Submit Current Level (Now) & Target Level (to be Achieved by 1st June 2020). Track Your Record Over Set Timeline. Submit Final Entry of “Target Achieved” on 1st June 2020 (This option will be made available to you for submission/closure 10 days prior to closing date).

5. Watch Out for an Award should You Be amongst Toughest Citizens Breaking Health & Fitness Barriers!
