The Event Management Industry of Gujarat has come together to form the state’s first professional industry association “Event Management Welfare Federation”. One of the primary ideas that laid the foundations of EMF was to make an effort to formalise the rapidly growing event industry. Until July 2013, despite there being more than 500 small and big scale companies in Gujarat operating in the event industry, there remained a vacuum for a common platform for the members of the fraternity to come together to debate, ideate and share knowledge. Moreover, a joint representation to the Government and concerned authorities, licensing bodies and other industry forums like vendors, venues etc. remained another challenge. It was to address these pressing needs and concerns that EMF was formed as the first single body to represent the interests of the industry. EMF is an initiative to bring the industry together and take it to the next level in every manner possible.
